Araldite fans are real romantics at heart
Hundreds of Araldite® fans visiting the company's website recently to take part in the annual Araldite Valentine's Day competition wore their hearts on their sleeves when they took part in a fun poll.
Asked what would make their perfect Valentine's Day, visitors were given four choices ranging from absolutely nothing at all to the works, with chocolates, movies, gifts, flowers and candlelit dinners and the results proved most Araldite users stick to each other like glue.
Of the total entries, only a handful confirmed a general indifference about the day, with the majority opting for the big gestures to make sure partners felt appreciated.
Entrants to the main Valentine's Day competition were asked to submit reasons "Why I love Araldite" with some great responses. "Easy to use and as strong as steel, when a job needs doing it's the real deal", and 'It's like your first love, something you're stuck with all your life" were examples of the entries.
The competition closed on 1st March and judges announced the overall winner as Darren Mallinson from Yeovil, Somerset. Darren wins the Ultimate Araldite kit containing £50 worth of Araldite adhesives to fix anything in and outside of the house, with 25 lucky runners-up winning a 24g pack of Araldite® Rapid or Araldite® Standard adhesive.
